Wedding

When my wife and I were planning our wedding in 2007, we quickly decided on a Beatles-themed celebration. As lifelong fans of the iconic band, their music has profoundly influenced our lives since childhood. Being graphic designers, we saw this as a fantastic opportunity to infuse our skills into our wedding elements.

For our save-the-dates, we drew inspiration from The Beatles' "With The Beatles" album cover. We printed them on blank CD sleeves, with the save-the-date information designed as a vinyl record that could be pulled out. Our invitations were a creative blend of old and new, featuring a recreation of a vintage Beatles poster with our details, alongside a circus flyer styled with lyrics from "For the Benefit of Mr. Kite." The RSVPs were designed as old concert tickets to be mailed back.

On the day of the wedding, our program echoed the whimsical style of the "Yellow Submarine" film. Every detail was a labor of love, reflecting our shared passion for The Beatles and making our special day uniquely ours.
