Benton Schoenrock

Art has been a part of me for as long as I can remember. When I was a kid and people asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up, I always said an artist or a musician. Those creative passions have been with me ever since, and they’re still what drive my work today. Art, film, and music have always played a big role in my life and continue to fuel my love for design.

I graduated from Grand View University with a double major in Graphic Design and Fine Arts. I started out as a fine artist, and that background in composition, movement, and visual ideas has really shaped how I approach graphic design. For me, it’s all about creating visuals that are not just impactful, but also tell a story.

I’ve been in the design world for 14 years now, and for the last 5 years, I’ve been working as an art director. In that role, I aim to bring out the best in people. I love helping others highlight their strengths and improve where they can. Knowing that good design doesn’t just come from what you see but the relationships you build.

The other side of art for me is music. I’ve created posters, merch, album art, etc for my own band and others. As well as drumming on several albums.
