Partnering with this historic Des Moines Italian eatery, we completely revamped its advertising strategy. For the past several years, Noah’s Ark had been using stale, text heavy advertisements — and not getting the desired results. The goal of this campaign was to attract a younger crowd, simplify the brand message and drive reservations and sales.
We identified three key brand values: great homemade food, a friendly, family atmosphere and Italian authenticity. These three things are the essence of Noah’s Ark identity and pushing these values would drive the creative to new heights.
We approached the creative with a simple and modern look while staying true to their brand and their message. With wood and brick textures to mimic the interior of this old Italian restaurant, we captured the essence of the atmosphere to paint the picture for the viewer.
With a combination of new and old photos, we shared the generations of families that have been enjoying Noah’s Ark to showcase the values of tradition.
The results proved our approach was a success, with a 200% increase in reservations and walk-ins. By promoting the restaurant’s true values and bringing in modern flare, we helped them reach the younger audience. The restaurant continues to run the campaign with minimal updates and still sees an increase in traffic.
